MAS issues compliance toolkits for approvals, notifications and other regulatory submissions to MAS for REIT managers and fund managers

On 2 October 2020, the Monetary Authority of Singapore (“MAS”) issued compliance toolkits for real estate investment trust (“REIT”) managers, licensed fund management companies, registered fund management companies and venture capital fund managers to guide and facilitate their compliance with various MAS approval and reporting requirements and timelines.

The compliance toolkits aim to provide guidance on:

• applications for approvals from MAS; 
• notifications to be submitted to MAS; and
• regulatory submissions to MAS.

The compliance toolkits set out the legislative references, regulatory deadlines, forms (if any) to be submitted and mode of submission for each requirement applicable to the relevant entity.
