£253 million acquisition of 26 logistics properties in the United Kingdom and S$452.1 million private placement by Ascendas Real Estate Investment Trust
Allen & Gledhill advised Ascendas Fund Management (S) Limited (“Ascendas Fund Management”), the manager of Ascendas Real Estate Investment Trust (“Ascendas REIT”), as transaction counsel on the £253.25 million acquisition of 26 logistics properties in the United Kingdom (the “Acquisition”) and the launch of a private placement to raise gross proceeds of S$452.1 million to finance the Acquisition, to partially finance the development of a build-to-suit facility located in Singapore and debt repayment.
Advising Ascendas Fund Management, the manager of Ascendas REIT, as to Singapore law were Allen & Gledhill Deputy Managing Partner Jerry Koh and Partners Foong Yuen Ping and Teh Hoe Yue.
