On 3 April 2020, the Singapore Government announced the implementation of elevated safe distancing measures to curb increasing local transmissions of Covid-19. These measures are intended to significantly reduce physical movement and interaction in public and private places. One of the measures is to close most physical workplace premises, save for those providing essential services and in selected economic sectors which are critical for local and global supply chains. Work and business activities that can be carried out via telecommuting from home should continue. These heightened safe distancing measures are in place for four weeks from 7 April 2020 until 4 May 2020 (both dates inclusive). 

On 7 April 2020, the Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore (“CCCS”) updated its website www.cccs.gov.sg with a notice about its operations during this period of heightened measures. According to the notice, CCCS remains operational with the vast majority of its team telecommuting and CCCS is contactable as follows:
