Yen Jin’s areas of practice include mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, and general corporate advisory work.
Yen Jin has acted for multinational corporations, public listed companies and private entities in domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions across various industries, including healthcare, real estate, and telecommunications. During her time at the Firm, she was seconded to a leading global alternative asset management firm.
Yen Jin graduated from the University College London and holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of California, Berkeley. She was awarded an overseas scholarship by a Singapore government agency to pursue her undergraduate and graduate studies. Prior to joining the Firm, she worked as a legal counsel with a Singapore statutory board.
Work Highlights
- Advised Rohto Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and Mitsui & Co., Ltd. on the S$800 million acquisition of approximately 86 per cent. of the ordinary shares in Eu Yan Sang International Ltd and the pre-conditional mandatory general offer to acquire all of its remaining ordinary shares.
- Advised Keppel Ltd. in relation to the disposal of its effective interests in two data centre buildings at 82 Genting Lane Singapore 349567, for a total gross divestment price of S$1.38 billion.
