With intensifying measures taken around the world to address the Covid-19 pandemic, our Firm is determined to play our part in minimising the spread of Covid-19 and provide aid to ensure the safety and well-being of our clients, friends and communities.

We supported the Law Society Pro Bono Services (LSPBS) in its “Covid-19 Access to Justice Response” campaign which ran from Thursday, 26 March 2020 to Thursday, 25 March 2021. The campaign raised funds to respond to the Covid-19 situation in Singapore and proceeds were used for new initiatives to fill access to justice gaps created by Covid-19 and to sustain existing programmes by the LSPBS.

In addition, our Singapore and Myanmar offices joined the emergency relief initiative by the Singapore Association Myanmar (SAM) which commits to donate US$50,000 to support the fight against the pandemic in Myanmar. The “SAM COVID-19 Response Campaign” ran from Wednesday, 14 October 2020 to Thursday, 14 October 2021. Proceeds from campaign are used to support medical workers in hospitals and quarantine centers which provide critical medical supplies (i.e. masks, gloves and surgical gowns), food relief to the vulnerable and impoverished families in Myanmar.
