Allen & Gledhill has been recognised for its involvement in eight winning deals and four highly commended deals at the FinanceAsia Achievement Awards 2023.
The winning deals are:
- Best Bond Deal – Singapore: Temasek’s €1.5 billion dual-tranche 4-year and 10-year senior unsecured notes
- Best Equity Deal – Singapore: SATS's S$798.8 million rights issue in connection with acquisition of WFS Group
- Best Infrastructure Deal – Singapore: Bayfront Infrastructure’s US$410.3 million infrastructure securitisation
- Best M&A Deal – Singapore: S$13.2 billion combination of Keppel Offshore & Marine and Sembcorp Marine
- Best Private Equity Deal – Singapore: HMI Group’s acquisition of MHC Asia
- Best Project Finance Deal – Singapore: Bayfront Infrastructure’s US$410.3 million infrastructure securitisation
- Best Sustainable Finance Deal – Singapore: Bayfront Infrastructure’s US$410.3 million infrastructure securitisation
- Best Venture Capital Deal – Singapore: Openspace Ventures’ investment in Pickup Coffee’s $40 million funding round
The highly commended deals are:
- Best Equity Deal – Singapore: CapitaLand Ascendas REIT’s S$500 million private placement
- Best M&A Deal – Singapore: SATS' €1.19 billion cash acquisition of Worldwide Flight Services
- Best Structured Finance Deal – Singapore: Bayfront Infrastructure’s US$410.3 million infrastructure securitisation
- Best Sustainable Finance Deal – Singapore: The Government of Singapore's S$2.8 billion 3.00% green bonds
In addition, Partner Chua Bor Jern was named Best Legal Advisor in Singapore in the Dealmaker Poll category. Introduced this year, the Dealmaker Poll gathers nominations from third-parties and recognises individuals who have been instrumental in closing the region’s most ambitious deals.
