Julie has broad experience in domestic and international financings. Her banking and finance practice includes advising banks and sponsors on project financings in various sectors as well as acting for both lenders and major corporate borrowers on regional and domestic syndicated loans, structured and acquisition financings and debt restructurings.
Julie rejoined the Financial Services Department of Allen & Gledhill as a Partner in 2008, having been there as an Associate from 1994 to 1999. Julie practised in London from 1999 to 2007, first with Baker & McKenzie and then with Baker Botts. In addition to advising on a broad range of finance-related matters, Julie’s practice in London included, in particular, the structuring of pan-European real estate investment funds, subscription financings, leveraged buy-outs and mergers and acquisitions.
Julie has been cited for her banking and finance work in publications including IFLR1000, Asialaw Leading Lawyers and The Legal 500 Asia Pacific.
Julie graduated from Leicester University with an LLB (Hons) degree in 1991 and from King’s College, London University with an LLM in 1993. Julie was called to the Bar in Singapore and Bar of England and Wales, Middle Temple, and is a practising solicitor of England and Wales.
