Throughout its history, South-east Asia has been a powerful nexus of trade and travel. Today, various initiatives champion enhanced regional collaboration, harmonised regulatory frameworks and harmonious diplomatic relationships. In a similar vein, China's One Belt One Road programme brings increased opportunities. These initiatives, coupled with growing interest and economic activity in the region, has resulted in a rapidly evolving environment, not least in the maritime and aviation industry, where the demand for deep expertise and practical experience to ensure appropriate and effective legal solutions has never been greater.

In the aviation space, our work frequently involves aircraft sale and purchase transactions, aviation financing, aircraft mortgages, leasing transactions, regulatory issues, enforcement and repossession. We liaise often with relevant authorities such as the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore and also advise on the application of the Cape Town Convention under Singapore law.
