Our Partner, Yong Kai Chang, leads our China Office and China Practice. He is native Singaporean and a Permanent Resident in the PRC. He has close to 20 years of experience in the PRC and HKSAR. Prior to joining us, apart from Singapore, he was in legal practice in Shanghai, Beijing, and HKSAR with leading international law firms. Most recently, he was an international partner in a Red-Circle Chinese law firm in China, one of the rare few Singaporean lawyers to have done so in China. He is recognised by notable legal publications including The Legal 500 Asia-Pacific for his expertise in Corporate and M&A and IFLR1000 for his expertise in Financial and Corporate work. He is admitted as a lawyer in three jurisdictions: Singapore, HKSAR, and the UK. He is natively bilingual in English and Chinese.
